Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock

24 01 2009

It seems I have a little too much time on my hands (see below post).

Time is weird. Sometimes you wish you had more hours in a day but the next will go by as slow as a sloth and you’ll just stare at a clock while it ticks slower then you can  count.

Something that I have noticed is say, I’m on the computer, typing away at something talking or whatever, the little clock on the bottom right (It’s digital) is moving as per usual but the “seconds” row is going twice as fast! So I’ll stare it down and calm myself, it returns to normal.

Maybe time does fly when your having fun, or busy, or just occupied…

My Weekend Project.

This took quite awhile to build, I started Saturday night, went to bed and completed it Sunday morning.Size Comparison.

Size Comparison.

The wings were by far the hardest part.

Woo!

Of course, I had to show the finished form in an awesome ceiling diarama.

Pew Pew.

Pew Pew.

This photo is a little blurry, but alas. Still the best I could manage…

Religion

5 01 2009

I don’t practice any sort of religion and I don’t really plan on it. I have been questioned about it and one of the most asked questions is: “Where do you get your morals from? Don’t you have any boundries of what is right and what is wrong?” or something along the lines of that.

I like to think that I can keep myself together, and follow the basics and my conscience. Keep myself clean, don’t hurt others and just be all around nice. It got me thinking though. Religion started some of these “rules” and society bearing ideas. So did  governments aswell.  It ended up good. Yet people still fight about these things, just like multiple governments fight each other so do multiple religions.

If people didn’t have a religion, I think that it would cause a big turmoil. Some need something to believe in. Others (like myself) don’t and create our own beliefs and systems, of course that is a very broad spectrum, some can think to themselves that killing is “A”-okay and acceptable if somebody gives them a dirty look. Which is wrong, I mean, killing is wrong. I guess I would disagree with that person : /

So I have been meandering around about how to sum this up into one point, and it is really, really, hard. So uhm…comment, it’s hard to think of this when you have little to compare to : |

I’m Returning These Cheerios Because…

4 01 2009

So I was at a Buy-Low (Grocery store) with my mom, and she wanted to return some cheerios. Mostly because I don’t like them and neither does she. However she is making up small talk and making up a story as to why we don’t want them. I mean, we just don’t want cheerios, but she is going on about how it’s “not our kind of cereal”. Alright, whatever we have store credit and no idea what to get. So we pick up two random things. Back to the cashier.

“We aren’t cereal people”, “They didn’t have our kind” Okay, we got POP and SAUSAGE, is there any need to actually explain, or make up some false sotry? It’s POP AND SAUSAGE that we had got after trading in some Cheerios!

The lady at the check-out must have thought we were messed up :/

I thought it was hilarious…
